Eckhoff's paintings, installations, and collages are saturated in neon colors and unite psychedelic, optical patterns with heavy pop culture references knotted with his own interpersonal relationships. His work sparks a dialogue that spans abstract and figurative representation, high art and popular culture, collective iconography and personal memories. A recipient of the Jacob K. Javits Fellowship and The Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation Scholarship, Eckhoff received an MFA in Painting at Syracuse University after graduating Magna Cum Laude.
